BROADWAY HEROES & VILLAINS BENEFIT FOR ROTARY IN UKRAINE

SMASH Productions presents Broadway Heroes & Villains on Thursday September 22 at Savannah Center at 3:00 and 7:00 PM. Hear Broadway’s most beloved and feared characters come to life as many of The Villages’ best-known performers take to the Savannah Stage. Broadway Heroes & Villains features the stars from recent Villages Productions including Beauty and the Beast, Grease, Urinetown, Mamma Mia, The Producers, Nunsense, Carousel, 1776, My Fair Lady, Assassins, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and more. This acclaimed cast of theater pros including Dawn DiNome, Mary Jo Vitale, Pinky Bigley, Mark Kirschenbaum, Bob Stehman and Tim Casey takes center stage with the characters and songs you love to love – and hate. You’ll hear songs from many of your favorite shows and some that will become your next must see shows. Travel from Les Mis to Hamilton with stops at Chicago, Oz, and visits with the heroes and villains of Jekyll & Hyde, Annie, Mamma Mia, the Phantom, Little Shop of Horrors, Aladdin and more!  

 

A portion of proceeds benefit The Rotary Club of the Villages Foundation- Ukraine Relief Fund. Stephanie Fernung, President, Rotary Club of the Villages Foundation states “The local area clubs are collecting funds through our club foundation and connecting with Rotary clubs affected by the war. The foundation donates the funds directly because we feel that the club leaders and members in Ukraine know best what is the most dire need at any time. Working with Rotarians we have no worries that the funds are used properly. I would like to personally thank SMASH Productions for reaching out to The Rotary Club of The Villages Foundation and assisting us with reaching people in need!’
